A church in Texas made headlines after they changed the lyrics to popular worship songs about God to say "Mother" instead of "Father". The "Mother God" movement in the Capital Region is targeting college students as part of its global expansion. The Mormon church venerates a holy "Heavenly Mother" as a necessary parent to the creation of humanity. Where is the line between what is "Christian" and what is "other"? Should Christians be concerned about the expanding movement to  redefine God as female? Alicia Purdy explores God- the Mother.
