Today's episode is all about prepping your skin for that sunless tan - whether spray tanned or self tanner application. Today’s episode we will talk about the Glymed Products to prep your skin, about the at home protocol to prep your skin, tips to make the sunless tan look amazing, and our favorite place to get a sunless spray tan!

Glymed Plus Products Used for Protocol:

PREPPING SKIN PRE SUNLESS TAN

1. Gentle Facial Cleanser- Gentle Facial Wash is a paraben-free cleanser with 10% Glycolic Acid that jumpstarts skin cells, promoting the desquamation process and enhancing the penetration of treatment products.

2. Alpha Therapeutic Body Scrub - is an energizing formula infused with ultra fine jojoba beads and alpha hydroxy acids, excellent for removing dry skin from elbows, knees, legs, and feet. (glycolic, lactic, Apricot, Malic, Aloe Vera, Spearmint, Jojoba)

3. Alpha Therapeutic Hand and Body Lotion - is a super smoothing triple AHA lotion that uses a mild exfoliating action to slough away dry skin as it nourishes and moisturizes. (glycolic, lactic, malic and chamomile)

4. MicroScrub with PC10- is the perfect alternative to microdermabrasion and is safer for the skin!

5. Repair Mega Moisture Cream- #1 selling facial cream good for all skin types

PROTOCOL FOR SUNLESS SKIN PREP (24 hours before Spray Tan)

Once you are in the Shower-

1. Gentle Facial Cleanser- Rub into palms and do body and face
2. Apply Alpha Therapeutic Ultimate Body Scrub. Dispense scrub to palms and apply to each section of the body. - I usually start with feet and work my way up to legs, booty, stomach, arms, and back)
3. For Face: Dispense Professional Micro Scrub with PC10 to palms and apply to face, neck, and décolleté. Gently massage for 2-3 minutes. Rinse off

Once you get out of shower-dry off and apply as follows:

1. For Body: Apply Alpha Therapeutic Hand & Body Lotion. Dispense lotion and smooth a thin layer over skin. Do not apply to face
2. For Face: Apply Daily Repair Mega-Moisture Cream. Dispense 1-2 pumps to palms and apply to face, neck, and décolleté.

APPOINTMENTS BEFORE SPRAY TAN

Brow lamination - at least 3-5 days before spray tan

Regular Facial - at least 24 hours

Speciality Facial - 48-72 hours before spray tan

Back Facial- 24 hours before spray tan

Lash Lift- 24-48 hours

Brow shaping 24 hours

Procell Microchanneling- 1 week before
