Paul helps us explore the final ‘I AM’ statement of Jesus: “I am the vine…”, which is one of the last things Jesus passed on to His disciples before His arrest and crucifixion. We learn that as followers of Jesus we need to expect PRUNING, that our call is to REMAIN in Him, while God’s job is the fruit and, most importantly, that God’s posture toward us is LOVE!
