Description

East Coast DNA: Apartment Talk is back with another Outback Edition, as Brian Doucette drives out of the smoke from the HRM wildfires and joins Darcy Walsh for a chat and fresh air.

Brian Doucette is an east coast rocker born and raised in Cape Breton Island now based out of Halifax, Nova Scotia. He has 3 full length studio albums with a 4th and 5th in production. His 4th album (the second album produced by Josh Kelly at The Basement Halifax), "If You Can't Be Good, Be Careful Vol 1" is being released on June 30th.

Brian's style has been described by some as acoustic thrash. He blends hard rock, country, rap, Celtic, blues and punk to produce a very original sound that he holds near and dear. He's had 4 songs reach the Top 10 on the CIOE Top 30 and has just went into their Hall Of Fame for his song Light It Up. He's been compared to Dropkick Murphy's, The Stansfield's, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sublime and Classified just to name a few.

Brian has played in venues all over the Maritimes, as well as throughout Canada. He's also played numerous venues in Nashville, Hollywood and Honolulu. He's departing on a trip to Alberta where he's got some shows booked throughout the province and look out for more dates when he returns to the East Coast.

There are 3 videos released, so far, from Brian's If You Can't Be Good, Be Careful Vol 1 album. Check 'em out here:
