"Paranormal Arson is a death metal project from Antigonish, Nova Scotia, Canada led by Jamie MacDonald. The goal of the Paranormal Arson project is simple: make straight-forward, old-school flavoured death metal that is as pummeling as it is catchy. To cut straight through to the listeners guts while still grabbing them with grooves and hooks. Drawing inspiration from death metal acts from Obituary, Deicide, and Suffocation, to Canada's own Cryptopsy and Gorguts, Paranormal Arson creates an impenetrable sonic wall.
