Our fifth holiday episode of 2023 features the Nova Scotia female singer/songwriter trio Brigid.
@brigidtrio
Brigid is the inspirational powerhouse trio of Emma Smit-Geraghty, Beth Terry, and Sarah McKim-Glinz. The meaning of the name Brigid is “three in one.” A sisterhood. A movement. An opportunity to make the world a better place. This trio of open-hearted singers cares deeply about connecting with people and shining a light on what needs to change.
Writing music they long to hear, this trio pens lyrics that speak to the elusive balance that modern women, and mothers, struggle to achieve amidst the messiness (and joy) of everyday life. Don’t miss the chance to hear them live at their many fundraising shows for local community nonprofits.
Beth, Sarah, and Emma take a moment from their busy schedules to sit down and chat with East Coast DNA host Darcy Walsh about balancing motherhood with a music career and Brigid's recently released sophomore album, Mid-December.
