His latest album, One Real Reveal, released on September 13th, explores the nature of desire and dreams and is his most contemplative work to date. The album includes the timely song “High Summer,” the languorous lead single ‘Rainy Day Janey,’ and his first spoken-word poem, ‘The New Joys,’ released this past April for National Poetry Month. Recorded solo on a 4-track cassette machine, the album captures Plaskett’s songs in their most unguarded form.
