The universe exist in abundance. This is observed as the whole of creation works towards sustaining itself. But here comes envy the mother of competition, creating hardship for the purpose of supremacy. Men hurt themselves in pursuit for gains in excess of their neighbour's. We have inflicted pain in ourselves. The first sickness of a divine being is envy. This pride is especially manifested amongst so called religious or spiritual people.
