Description

Welcome to episode 21 of Paths in the Outdoors podcast, this episode we talk to Misba Khan, how has been developing her hiking and mountaineering for several years. She has also been on an all-female Euro Arabian North Pole trip.

Misba tells me about the inspiration for getting into the outdoors and the challenges she has faced. She has forged an outdoor lifestyle for herself and found the benefits.

This has led to being part of an expedition to the North Pole in 2018 led by British explorer Felicity Aston. There will be a film, Exposure, being released later this year documenting the trip.

We sat down for the interview following her talk at Keswick Mountain Festival on the Craghopper stage, the weather turned and there is a bit of background noise due to the wind and other festival goers. The other issue was a technical one, meaning there is only one camera view, fortunately capturing the star. I don’t think it takes away from the chat at all.

It can all be watched on YouTube and Spotify and listened to on Spotify and Apple Podcasts.

The pod is on Instagram and Twitter help us spread the word and share it whenever you can. Please like, share and comment, especially on Apple where it helps with the algorithm.
