Martin Savidge is a network anchor/correspondent having reported from all over the world for CNN, NBC, Public television and others.
Born in Canada, he is a Rocky River High School graduate and Ohio University alum. After short stints with Illinois tv stations he landed a job, in 1984 at WJW Channel 8 in Cleveland, winning 9 local Emmy Awards in 12 years.
Since taking his skills to the networks, Savidge has covered 12 world conflicts, countless natural disasters, including Katrina.
He’s won 2 Headliners Awards, 2 Edward R. Murrow Awards. A Peabody and a duPont Columbia Award.
