Rob Ostrom knows what it’s like to carry around, what is in essence, a replica of himself. The 46, year old St. Edward high and Boston U product is more than a year into a very successful weight loss. A weight loss that sparked thunderous reaction on social media. Since bariatric surgery, done at the former St. Vincent Charity Hospital in Cleveland, Ostrom, who works in the Financial Service industry, has taken his weight from 473 pounds…. To now, just south of 250 pounds. For Rob, it was his second huge weight loss. How did he get to such a large weight in the first place, and why has bariatric surgery been such a godsend??
