Today we go over History of cannabis in New Mexico, and how we got where we are today. History is very important, it gives us an understanding of the past, and ways we can learn from our mistakes. We will discuss how cannabis became illegal in the state, down to present day where it is fully legal, the people who helped model cannabis reform here, and obstacles that had to be cleared in order to get medical and adult use in the books! NM was actually the first state to have a medical cannabis program, several years before California, and the law reform of cannabis was championed by an all woman team, hear more by hitting play!
