Ed has been a senior manager and President with large international companies and has owned his own multi-million-dollar business. He started his entrepreneurial adventure as a shoeshine boy on the south side of Chicago at 8 years of age. Ed has lived and worked abroad in England, Germany, and India and has been responsible for multiple start-ups of businesses and branch operations in a variety of situations. While the owner of a local business in Lincoln, he was able to grow the company from 13 employees to almost 200.
Ed has a bachelor’s degree and is a member of the John Maxwell Team of Coaches, Trainers, and Speakers. He has been an Associate Trainer with Equip and traveled internationally teaching biblical leadership. He has operated his own small Coaching/Consulting business as Nix & Company Inc. and volunteers with Alcoholics Anonymous and Juvenile Detention Services. He is gifted in the areas of Faith, Leadership, Administration, Teaching and Exhortation and his Gallup strengths are Activator, arranger, command, communication, and maximizer. He is active in real estate investing and consulting with various other business enterprises.
