The famous line is popular in the black community when it comes to talking about how we were raised and how the passing down of some behavior might not have been ok. In this episode we are discussed generational trauma, how it impacts the community, and how we can begin to break the cycles.

This episode features Shanita Jackson, an author, Social Worker and Mental Health Advocate. A native of Orlando, Fl. Graduate from the Florida A&M University, graduated with a Bachelor's of Social Work. She loves all things social work and currently pursuing her Masters of Social Work from Florida State University.
