Description:

Alastair Walkerreturned to running after a 22 year hiatus. In 2018, he took the World Masters Gold Medal in the 10,000 meter race and the Bronze Medal in the 5000 meter race for the 60-65 age group. The number of gold medals he's taken in the UK and Europe are too many to count. Here are some of his times from 2019: 5K in 16:50 and a 10K in 34:56, all in his 60s. We discuss getting older, staying fast and the best post-run beverages.

We also highlight Old Crazy Runners Podcast member Dom Halbert’s 165 miles last week - come on the podcast! Kudos as well to Sue Moran for over 10 hours and Bob Frost with 55 miles. Finally, we discuss runner Earl Blewett being lost for 36 Hours at a Florida Ultramarathon and Jacky Hunt-Broersma - @ncrunnerjacky- -cancer survivor and amputee working to run 100 marathons in 100 days.

HTC is full! The Midwest chapter will be paying their dues to run HTC in 2022.. We do have openings in two of the one-day relays - The Windy River Relay and The Seabrook Relay.
