Sermon 5: The Notebook, is about the power of journaling in regard to your personal and community development.
"A person, from time to time, can benefit from taking stock in their personal value."
~me
I talk about what I mean by journaling, the topics of skills inventory, community inventory, and item inventory. The why, the power of development recording, knowing where you fit in your community and where there are opportunities for growth in your community. How one competently journals, the roles of honesty, self criticism, and the use of routine. The specific benefits, gaining direction to one's goals, having a physical record, and knowing your value. I talk about rating oneself, the how's and why's, the value of specialization, and understanding skills diversification. Finally the value of keeping track, evaluating progression, a bit about accountability, and managing item requirements.
