How Do We Hold The PERFECT Daily Scrum Meeting! Here are guidelines that I use to make certain this happens;
- Daily Meeting 15 minutes or less per day - (30 seconds per person not to exceed 15 minutes)
- Same time same place same zoom or teams link everyday
- No pontificating to solve problems - problems that can be resolved in 30 seconds or less should be resolved
- No electronics of any kind - Yes this includes the Jira Board
- No Pen or paper to record - no output to the meeting
- Team rules/guidelines should be clearly posted
- Do not be late
- Fines go to a reputable charity
- Team stands in a circle
- Visitors around the outside as they do not participate
- Visitors follow the same rules to be present
- Always end on time
- Stick to the REAL three questions
- Allow exceptions for remote teams
