Description

Lionel Hilaire comes to share his truth.  Lionel was teased at an early age for simply being who he was a Haitian American.  He shares how being bullied turned him into the ultimate people pleaser which was literally killing him.  Lionel goes on to share his codependency in his marriage and how it led him down a dark road of depression.  He then leads us down his journey of healing and wholeness all the way to helping others. Lionel has written two books to help those who have suffered in silence to get out of their own way.

His poem he shared "We Hurt Too" inspired by the death of rapper/actor DMX gives a true glimpse of the pain that black men endure on a daily basis.
