So what exactly is a Health History? Why is this such an important tool for Integrative Nutrition Health Coaches? In this podcast, I sit down with my friend Jessica, who just signed up for the six month program. I will give a little explanation about what goes into a health history consultation (which is FREE!!!), and then we move on to the forms she filled out that will tell me a little about her overall health. Health Histories are great blueprints to use as a health coach because it allows the client to give me some background information about their past eating habits, genetic make-up, and it also gives me insight into their daily routines, goals, fears, etc. The pauses you hear are me writing down information and also just giving Jessica time to process her thoughts. Because the thing to remember in a coaching session is I am LISTENING TO YOU. It is a safe space for you to discuss your health, your problems, and why you want to try and improve your life. The main purpose for this podcast is to really give the listener a great example of the kind of questions I would ask a client. Maybe that client will be you?
