There’s a lot of perceptions about what it’s like working in tech: you have to be a programmer, there’s free food and offices with bean bag chairs, everyone is trying to start the next Facebook, etc.
After working various internships from start-ups to big tech as a SWE, designer and PM, we debunk some of the myths of what it’s like working in tech. We talk about our expectations going in, what it’s really like, as well as what we like and dislike about being in the industry.
