He worked in the financial industry for thirty years, finally leaving his job in 2020 as a commodity broker to start his own business. It is nice to hear his perspective on some pivotal moments in the history of finance, like the tech boom in the late nineties, the financial crisis in 2008, and eventually we make our way to speaking about drugs, marriage, and having children.
This… is my very first podcast so please bear with me. I will try to stop saying the word “um” and I will continue to try to become more articulate. As you might notice, I mess up the very first question that I read - but the conversation goes on well, and I’m glad I had it.
