The relationship with the self is the hardest one for all of us to confront and talk about. Join us as we explore what makes our longest and the most important relationship the hardest one for us to maintain. Kierra and Nic make connections back to previous episodes to touch on the impacts of attachment styles and family dynamics on our relationship with ourselves. Obstacles to a positive relationship with ourselves are guilt and shame. Kierra and Nic explore ways to improve this relationship by discussing self-empathy and self-compassion as well as focus on how to build self-love by engaging in meaningful and intentional self-care.
