Description

It’s hard to get up and motivate yourself in the face of a long commitment like a business. What’s helped James learn, and practice, discipline, is not in obsessing over the results–but in honoring and valuing the process that gets you there.

James Golden is the owner of Pavement Management Group, which specializes in a high-ticket approach to pavement management programs. He works in data collection, and uses that information to create solutions for our roadway networks. Now, it’s been over 23 years since James first joined the industry, and he’s learned a lot about the intersection of pavement and information technology.

On this episode of Business, Cars, & Cigars, innovation is the word of the day. James has innovated his entire life, from hustling baseball cards as a kid to integrating digital technology and AI into his pavement management systems. He’s here to share his career journey with Brandon, and bring fresh blood to the Business side of the podcast–namely how to communicate your passion, scale your business, and make time for all areas of your life.
