Today's guest is the amazing Maria Villanueva!
Maria Villanueva who is founder and CEO of BeautyQlick. In 2005 she moved back home to Sweden from London, where she had worked as a beauty consultant for Chanel for 5 years, and she realized how much harder it was for her to find makeup for a darker skin tone. She could never just go to a store and find the right shade but had to spend a lot of time searching around online and this is where the idea of BeautyQlick was born.
In the episode we talk about sustainable consumerism and that we are not going to reach the 2030 goals, reported by Greenpeace. We talk about owning your own data in the web3 and building bathroom cabinets in the metaverse. We also cover being a woman of color and raising investments and gaining a goldfish memory where a no is not a no forever.
