How to become a fluent English Speaker- Part 4

In part two I spoke about the importance of making mistakes. I understand that everyone makes mistakes when they’re learning a new language, it’s just part of the process. However, I also realise that it’s important to have my mistakes corrected by someone, otherwise I’ll just keep saying things incorrectly, and that won’t help me at all.

I would really like people to correct me when I make a grammatical error, or when I pronounce a word or phrase incorrectly. It’s not embarrassing to get things wrong because I’m trying my best to learn a new language, which can be hard, and the most important thing is that I get it right next time. I think that this is one of the most helpful things that a teacher or a friend can do, and if they do this, I will know how to say things correctly in the future.

So, I’m now going to try and find somebody who can correct my mistakes when I’m speaking, either a native English speaker or a teacher, because without this kind of help, it will be difficult to make any serious improvement.
