In Episode 2 of Season 1 of "An Inside Look", co-host Sandy Xu sits down with the one and only Joey Ton. Joey is a pharmacist who graduated with his Bachelors of Pharmacy in 2013 and Doctor of Pharmacy in 2015 both at the University of Alberta.
Currently, in his role as a knowledge translation expert on the PEER team with renown Dr. Mike Allan, he focuses on developing and providing tools and resources that clinicians such as physicians and pharmacists can use. His recent projects in this role include developing tools for the use of marijuana and opioids.
Joey also talks about his journey from being a student to the well sought out position he’s in now, and how he was able find direction in his career despite the many opportunities available to him.
