I am here to talk about the once Golden State of California, my home state which I was born and raised. Why are people leaving California? Because of the strict lockdown during the COVID-19 pandemic that took it toll on the citizens of California. Californians also have been leaving the state because of the high cost of living, and also the homeless population is out of control. California for the first time in history of the state has lost a congressional seat because of the declining population.
