Being able to persuade anyone - or, at least, becoming more persuasive - is a skill everyone can develop. Unfortunately, many people try to beat people over the head with their argument or perspective, which is both off-putting and highly ineffective at getting people to give you something you want. After all, we need to give other people a reason to give us something.
