Description

Each of us likes to believe we think for ourselves, but do we? As children, the adults in our life, such as our parents, teachers, and coaches, download their worldview and beliefs and we, generally, accept that as truth. These truths form our beliefs. While this isn't necessarily a good or bad thing, at some point when we become adults, we realize that we've been living by other people's beliefs. Still further, there are sources of information, such as the mainstream media or other experts or authorities that attempt to imprint their worldview or beliefs on us. This episode looks at five examples and provides reasons for why each of us should become a healthy skeptic and should interrogate the truth when we are willing and able to do so. If we do that, it's fascinating how our truth evolves. Thank you for joining the conversation!
