As an 8x Arizona State Karate Champion, inductee into the National Martial Arts Hall of Fame, and owner of the Kaizen Academy of Martial Arts, Sensei Mike D'Aguanno is the epitome of a peak performer. Having started his martial arts journey at age 5, Sensei Mike continues to level-up his mindset, finding new ways to encourage and motivate the next generation of martial artists. By teaching discipline and perseverance, he transforms the lives of students of all ages by making martial arts a way of life rather than simply a form of combat or self-defense. Throughout his individual career, he has practiced what he now preaches, as he is a 4th Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo, a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Shotokan Karate, a 2nd Degree Black Belt in American Freestyle Karate, and a 1st Degree Black Belt in American Kenpo.
