What is potential? As an adjective, it means “having or showing the capacity to become or develop into something in the future.” As a noun, it means “latent qualities or abilities that may be developed and lead to future success or usefulness.”
Immaterial of which definition you emphasize, far too many people argue against their potential because they never pursue or intend to pursue their full potential.
These people talk themselves out of it by deciding that pursuing their potential is too difficult or too time consuming or wouldn’t be accepted by others. Living this way point to self-imposed limiting beliefs, which is especially insidious considering that the world doesn’t get your best or what you’re capable of.
If this is you, I encourage you to stop arguing AGAINST your potential and start arguing FOR your potential.
This episode explores ways to argue for your potential and how the benefits of doing so levels-up your mindset and gives you a shot at achieving peak performance. After all, each of us is on this pale, blue rock for a short amount of time and such a shift in mindset can be game changing for your life.
