It is God’s desire that we are built up. This is the goal of edification. Many times buildings collapse or wear out as a result of a poor foundation or weak materials. Our Christian faith and spiritual progress are also like buildings, there is a foundation that must be built and spiritual blocks that we must use in our walk with God in order for us to have a strong structure.
