Originally, I thought this episode was going to be about heartbreak and how long it can last, how healing isn’t linear, and how time doesn’t heal all wounds. How your degree of healing depends on what you choose to do with that time, and how not all of us can just “get over it”. While I did talk about this a little bit, another topic took center stage this week because I had a troll comment something horrifying on my TikTok a few days ago, and I feel like it's time to address it. I didn’t realize people still paid attention to the mistakes I made in high school, but apparently they do…
In this episode, I fully expose myself for the pain and shame of my past. I share a secret I’ve kept hidden from everyone since it happened 7 years ago. This period of my life was hands down the most heartbreaking time I’ve been through, and I’m at the point where I know it’s time I bring this darkness to light. I have to be my own best friend and my own best healer right now, and that for me is sharing this story because the fear of getting more comments like this and not telling my side of it, MY truth, is terrifying. More terrifying than it is to let you listen to what I'm about to tell you.
Please know: the more you stand in your light, the more you speak your truth, the more you will attract your soul family and people who truly support you. In this process, you will also attract people that completely disagree with you and hate on what you’re doing no matter how pure of intentions you have. So KEEP SPEAKING YOUR TRUTH NO MATTER WHAT. THE WORLD NEEDS YOUR VOICE, THE WORLD NEEDS TO HEAR YOUR STORY.
