Bolanle is a dynamic, creative professional finishing her graduate degree in social work at Baylor University! Native to Houston, Texas, she is a longtime friend and mentor to many, as well as being the oldest of 5 kids, so she knows a thing or two about listening and leading. It was an honor to share this space with her and hear her perspective on embracing her Nigerian heritage, scratching the surface of social work in the Black community, and practical tools for how to be a better active listener.
