Whenever there's a storm on land the calmest part of the storm is the center. It is known to be called the eye of the storm for that reason. When our lives are chaotic and out of control it can feel like we're in the midst of a storm. When dark clouds hurl over our heads we can go to the eye of the storm. When life don't make sense and the pressures in the moment seem so hard to bear. God alone is the eye of the storm. In him we find perfect peace. Yes, the storm may be still raging but we have peace in the midst of it!
