A broken heart, betrayal, failures, and disappointments can cause a heart to hurt. We are betrayed it crushes our spirit. My spirits are crushed this is if we lose all hope. Having a broken heart and a crushed spirit can leave us in a space of emptiness. The only person that is able to breathe strength back into our crushed spirit is God.
