When Abraham rescued his nephew Lot, the king of Sodom tried to reward him with riches. 💰
But Abraham said no.
“I will not take even a thread or a sandal strap that is yours,
lest you say, ‘I have made Abram rich.’” — Genesis 14:23
He refused wealth from a corrupt king — because his faith was in the Possessor of heaven and earth. 🙌
Then God said to him:
“Do not be afraid, Abram.
I am your shield,
your very great reward.” — Genesis 15:1
🔥 The message?
Sometimes saying “no” to easy gain is saying “yes” to eternal reward.
Integrity might cost you something now — but when God is your portion, you never walk away empty-handed.
