Die wahre Definition von Erfolg? (Was Gott großartig nennt)
"Herr Lehrer, welches Gebot im Gesetz ist das größte? Er antwortete ihm: Du sollst den Herrn, deinen Gott, lieben mit ganzem Herzen, mit ganzer Seele und mit all deinen Gedanken. Das ist das größte und wichtigste Gebot. Das zweite ist ihm ähnlich: Liebe deinen Nächsten wie dich selbst. Von diesen beiden Geboten hängt das ganze Gesetz und die Propheten ab." Matthäus 22:36-40
In der heutigen Gesellschaft hat jeder eine Meinung und ist Experte dafür, was ein erfolgreiches und tolles Leben ausmacht. Das stimmt jedoch oft nicht mit dem überein, was Jesus uns in der Bibel darüber gelehrt hat, wie Erfolg für ihn aussieht. In der Bergpredigt sagt Jesus, dass die Sanftmütigen die Erde erben werden und die Trauernden getröstet werden (Matthäus 5,3-12). Heute wollen wir über den Wert und die Währung des Himmels sprechen. The true definition of success? (What God calls great)
“Teacher, which command in the law is the greatest? He said to him, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and most important command. The second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets depend on these two commands.” Matthew 22:36-40
In today's society everyone has an opinion and are experts on what's counts as a successful and great life. However offen this does not match up with what Jesus taught us in the Bible about what greatness looks like to him. In the sermon on the mount Jesus totally flips the script and tells us that the meek will inherit the earth and the those who mourn will be comforted (Matthew 5:3-12). Today we want to discuss the value and the currency of heaven. Join us!
