In der Welt. Nicht von der Welt.
"Ich habe ihnen dein Wort gegeben, und die Welt hat sie gehasst; denn sie sind nicht von der Welt, wie auch ich nicht von der Welt bin. Mein Gebet ist nicht, dass du sie aus der Welt nimmst, sondern dass du sie vor dem Bösen beschützt. Sie sind nicht von der Welt, so wie ich nicht von ihr bin. Heilige sie durch die Wahrheit; dein Wort ist Wahrheit. Wie du mich in die Welt gesandt hast, so habe ich sie in die Welt gesandt. Für sie heilige ich mich selbst, damit auch sie wahrhaftig geheiligt werden". Johannes 17:14-19. Spreche mit uns darüber, wie ein Leben aussieht, das geheiligt und abgesondert ist. Jesus hat für uns gebetet, dass wir beschützt werden und unser Leben in dem Bewusstsein leben, dass wir nicht mehr Teil dieser Welt, sondern Teil der Ewigkeit sind. In Kolosser 3,2 heißt es: "Trachtet nach dem, was oben ist, nicht nach dem, was auf Erden ist". Es ist eine unglaubliche Herausforderung, auf diese Weise zu leben und diese Einstellung zu haben, während wir hier auf der Erde sind. Beteilig dich an der Diskussion zu diesem Thema!

In the World. Not of the World.
“I have given them your word and the world has hated them, for they are not of the world any more than I am of the world. My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. They are not of the world, even as I am not of it. Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth. As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world. For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified.” John 17:14-19. Join us as we speak about what is looks like to live a life that is sanctified and set apart. Jesus prayer for us, that we would be protected and live our lives realising we are no longer apart of this wold but rather part of eternity. Colossians 3:2 speaks about “Setting your minds on things above, not on earthly things.” It’s an incredible challenge to live this way and have this mindset while here on earth.
