In the early hours of November 15, 1959, a horrific murder occurred in Holcomb, Kansas. The Clutter family—Herb, his wife Bonnie, and their teenage children Nancy and Kenyon—were brutally murdered in their countryside residence by two former convicts, Perry Smith and Richard Hickock. The perpetrators were given death sentences and were executed on April 14, 1965.
