It is important to take your time before you verbally commit to a college team. While it is an exciting time to be asked to verbally commit, you must do your due diligence so that your word to the college coach will stand through time.
1. Be sure it is the right fit academically
2. Keep videoing and communicating even after the verbal commitment
3. Do you own vetting of the school, team and coaches
