Prax stumbled upon this series in Netflix about the history and culture of megacities entitled Metropolis. After watching the series we finally understand the story behind The Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, the Salmon Bagel Breakfast in New York, and the Jazz of New Orleans. 🤓
For travel nerds out there, you know the vast difference of having a tour guide and walking around not knowing what you’re looking at. This makes you fall in love with a place when you know the story behind it. It’ll be interesting to hear stories of our local cities - Makati, Manila, Angeles, Baguio, or Vigan.
