Janine Van Rooyen, born and bred in Durban, is an avid surfer, happy wife, and mother of two. Starting her career at Unilever as a sales consultant, she then progressed to various leadership roles - always passionate about people and making a positive impact on those around her.
Fourteen years later she became the managing director of Unilever Food Solutions South Africa and saw the organisation through the most challenging time the business had ever seen. She survived and so did the business, winning the global president's award. She is now managing the retail food and nutrition business unit for Southern Africa and is an executive board member for UL SA.
