08 Jun 2023 - This sidebar episode the two discuss passion versus frustration.  Passion and frustration are two emotions that are often experienced by individuals in different aspects of their lives. While passion is a feeling of intense desire and enthusiasm towards something, frustration is a feeling of disappointment or annoyance due to the inability to accomplish a task or achieve a goal.  A passion these two guys have is cigars.  Austin is smoking an Undercrown Shade by Drew Estate.  Undercrown Shade is flavorful and balanced, with an Ecuadoran Connecticut wrapper atop a Sumatran binder and Dominican criollo 98’ and Nicaraguan corojo and criollo long-fillers. Mellow to medium-bodied, the blend is rich, complex, and balanced, bringing flavors of toast, nuts, subtle spice, and cream with an enjoyable sweetness with the finish. Dice is smoking an Above & Beyond by Blanco.  This cigar is a tribute to those that have sacrificed and paid the ultimate price in Civil Service (Police, Fire, EMS) and the Armed Forces. It is also the long-awaited rebranded blend that was used for the American Legion cigar. All the Above & Beyond sizes are box-pressed torpedoes. This was on purpose, so the secondary band on the head of the cigar could be cone-shaped as this is meant to symbolize the folded U.S. flag that all Heroes families are presented at the time they are laid to rest.  Passion can be a powerful motivator that drives individuals to excel in their careers, hobbies or relationships. On the other hand, frustration is a negative emotion that can hinder progress and limit personal growth. It is important to understand them both as the host share stories about passion and frustration throughout the journey of leadership.
