Jesus was known to be humane and always sympathetic to the plights of people during His earthly ministry. One of His reassuring words to those afflicted by one ailment or the other, or those facing unfavourable life challenges was, "Be of good cheer." Today's Daily Devotional brings this common and reassuring words, that Jesus usually declared to His audience, into focus and emphasizes that Jesus always spoke these words to the people because He was always interested in their well-being.
