The Bible expressly instructs Christians not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers - non-Christians. It makes clear that there is no fellowship between light and darkness. This instruction is very important in marriage as it is in the interest of the believer to heed the warning. Today's Daily Devotional throws more light on this divine instruction and goes on to admonish all believers to obey, further going on to give scriptural counsel to individuals who were in relationships while not believers but became converted in the relationship while their partners remained unbelieving.
