Today's Daily Devotional is an admonition to all not to go back from following in the footsteps of Jesus. It is an admonition to resist the temptation to go back into the world after knowing God, after experiencing the power of His deliverance and salvation, and after tasting His love and goodness. The Devotional makes it clear that it is not only unwise to do so, but that it is dangerous as it leads to destruction.
