God is good and is always looking out for His people -- to bless them and to make them to excel in life. The Bible says He takes pleasure in the prosperity of His people, and this is because He is always very caring and loving towards them. In today's Daily Devotional, the fallacy of the notion that piety is synonymous with poverty or walking the path of righteousness is walking in the path of lack and deprivation is addressed.
