When God created Adam in the Garden of Eden, and later gave him Eve as a companion and mate, He established the marriage institution. His desire at the institution of this marital union between Adam and Eve was for the purpose of making His love, joy, and peace to reign in the home. Today's Daily Devotional makes it clear that the devil truncated God's plan for the home by making the couple to disobey God and become subservient to the devil. The Devotional concludes that God's plan for the marriage institution has not changed. January 15, 2025.
