Jesus' birth, and first advent, brought mankind peace, joy, and goodwill from God. Jesus' sacrificial love of leaving His throne of glory in heaven, coming to the earth in the form of man, and dying an agonising death on the cross, is indeed an epitome of God's unrivalled love for man. This is the focus of today's Daily Devotional which categorically declares that Jesus' coming is indeed a blessing to mankind, and it is to be appreciated, and this token of God's love embraced.
